Why 13 days? Because that’s how long my kids are out of school!
Not a big crowd today at the pool. I can have that middle lane all to myself (at least for 15 minutes or so, until the next group of die-hard swimmers arrives).
What? You think I’d face a holiday full of family without water therapy?
Sometimes, the best therapy is in the water — I like to float on my back, spread my arms and legs like angel’s wings and move softly, quietly through the water — with my ears just below the surface, the world is far away and silent…
Breathe.
You are so funny. I think I could use a little hydrotherapy too! Merry Christmas, Megan (yes, let’s make cookies. I’ll share my apron :)). One of the highlights of my year was meeting you IRL!
Hmmm….
I can’t swim. Well I can swim. But I can’t breathe. So I side stroke, or breast stroke – just like the rest of the old people in the pool.
I envy people like you. People who can breathe in deep water.
Merry Christmas, Megan. I love you. A lot.
keep on splashing 🙂
