A month from today I will teach a new workshop for Tweetspeak Poetry called Through the Looking Glass. For students who choose the 12-week option, we’ll be joined one evening by children’s book illustrator Susie Jaramillo.
I spoke with Jaramillo for two posts this fall: one on Canticos, a brand of Encantos Media Studios, and one on Day of the Dead and Jaramillo’s book Little Skeletons / Esqueletitos. I wrote the post before I’d seen Pixar’s movie Coco, which brings the holiday into full, glorious color.
