A Ritual to Read to Each Other: ‘A River Runs Through It’

Published September 4, 2020

Note to readers: I published this post exactly one week before my father died, on September 11, 2020. His death was sudden and peaceful. I had been planning to write about “A River Runs Through It” for months, and finally decided that, as fall fell, the time was right. I had no idea how right the timing was.

So this one’s for you, Clif W Drummond: Buddy to his mother and grandchildren, Tio or Uncle Bud or Uncle Bug to his nieces and nephews, Cowboy Clif to his Chilean compadres, Chatito to his Marianela.
